The connectivity control unit (CCU) represents the central connectivity hardware of the automotive connectivity hub on-board the vehicle. It gathers the required data from the individual control units and transmits it to the cloud via a secure cellular connection, where it can be subjected to further processing.

Thanks to its powerful processors, the CCU can run even the most sophisticated telematics applications. The available storage capacities can accommodate large volumes of data and prepare it for transmission to the cloud.

The CCU can be easily retrofitted to vehicles from different manufacturers without having to make any modifications to the vehicles themselves. Vehicle manufacturers also have the option of integrating the CCU directly into their development process.
